Neysa King’s multi-genre writing has been published in The Common, North American Review, O, Miami’s Poems’ at the Underline and others. She is a three-time recipient of a staff scholarship to Bread Loaf Writers Conference and a recipient of a 2026 MIA individual artist’s grant.
Dedicated to creating community around writing, she is the founder of Heart-Centered Writing, offering public creative writing activations and private writing coaching.
Neysa earned her MA in global history from Northeastern University, with additional graduate work done at Harvard University. She is currently earning her MFA in fiction at Warren Wilson College.
She has just completed her first novel. She lives in Miami Beach.
